Some Common questions regarding pest control

Is pest control safe?

Yes! This is usually the first question people have, and for good reason. Pest control products have come a long way. All products used here at Peak Pest Control are safe when used in accordance with the labeling. Customers don't have to leave their homes. Further, there are no odors and the material will not damage carpet, hardwood floors, furniture, etc. All applicators are licensed by the department of agriculture and trained to keep our customers safe and pest free.

How much does pest control cost?

General pest treatments start at $159 for homes up to 3,000 sq ft. This is the initial treatment price. Future treatments are priced at the quarterly rate. This rate is $50 less than the initial rate.

How effective is spider extermination?

Spider control, as well as other insects treated with our general pest treatment, is very effective. The products we use stay active on the surface treated for at least 2 months. Most people will not treat their homes more than four time per year, and many will treat less than that.

Are you near me? If not, do you service my area?

We are based in Englewood, Colorado. We travel all over the Denver metro area, as well as the foothills.

So no contracts, but what if I want a service plan?

We can absolutely set up a service plan for you if you wish. There is never a contract involved so you are able to end the service plan at any time. We can customize this plan to your specific needs.

How long does an appointment take? Do I need to prepare?

Most appointments can be completed in 20-30 minutes. Larger homes/properties and more severe problems can take longer. An estimated treatment time can be provided for your specific needs.

No preparation is necessary, with the exception of bed beg treatments. Customers needing a bed bug treatment will be emailed pre/post treatment instructions upon scheduling.

Is what you spray for bugs going to stink my house up?

The products we use are low to no odor. Extremely sensitive individuals may want to step outside for a few moments while the treatment is happening, but 99% of our customers do not notice any odor. The exception is bed bug treatments. These treatment require more potent materials and customers need to stay out of treated rooms for at least 4 hours.
