There are 3 different kind of Black Widow Spiders in the US. The western species, Latrodectus hesperus; the northern species, Latrodectus variolus; and the southern species, Latrodectus mactans. In Colorado we predominately have the Western Widow. Luckily they are very non aggressive, however they will defend their egg sac.
Add On Treatments:
Customers can save money by grouping treatments in one visit. Secondary treatments are an additional $50 and tertiary treatments add another $30.
Spider/Ant/General Pest Treatments
General pest treatments are the most common spray treatment. We use a broad spectrum insecticide which will eliminate all insects in your home. The application is safe for people and animals when used in accordance with product labels. They are odor free and customers do not need to leave their homes. Some other pests that are included in the general pest category are: Box Elders, Mites, Centipedes, Fleas, Earwigs, Flies, and Gnats. When treating for ants we use a product specifically for ants which will eliminate the colony permanently in just one treatment.
Pricing
General pest treatments start at $159. This is for homes up to 3,000 square feet. Larger homes add $10 for each 1,000 square feet. Any future treatments will be $50 less than the initial price.
Rodent Control:
Mice and rats are controlled using bait stations. These boxes are placed discretely in areas of rodent activity. Mice and rats are highly attracted to this bait so food competition is rarely an issue. This method of control has proven very effective and economical.
Mouse Treatment Pricing
Initial mouse treatments cost $159. This includes up to 12 bait stations which will cover most homes and small businesses. Customers may need refills in the future with the cost being $109.
Rat Treatment Pricing
Initial rat treatments start at $179. This includes two large bait stations. Severe rat infestations may require additional bait stations. Each additional bait station costs $30.
Norway rats are the most common rat pest in Colorado. They can have litters of 6-12 young. Average healthy females have 4-6 litters per year.
Wasp, Hornet, and Yellowjacket Nest Removal:
Typically beginning in June wasps and hornets can become a major nuisance. Yellowjacket nests can be dangerous as yellowjackets are quite aggressive and will enthusiastically defend their nest. We will eliminate the issue and, if possible, remove the nest.
Pricing
This service is $159. Discounts for additional nests.
Yellowjacket nests are frequently concealed. Often in the ground or in landscaping materials such as railroad ties. At peak population yellowjacket nests can contain 2,000-4,000 individuals. Disturbing a nest that size can be dangerous!
